Evaluación de tres materiales de pimiento capsicum annum L. cultivados con dos sistemas de tutoreos

Resumen
La presente investigación se realizó en la granja experimental “Vainillo”
de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Universidad de Guayaquil
ubicada en la vía Durán- Tambo, cantón el Triunfo provincia del Guayas.
El experimento estuvo constituido por tres materiales de pimiento y dos
sistemas de tutoreo. Los objetivos fueron: Determinar el
comportamiento agronómico y el mejor rendimiento de tres materiales
de pimiento bajo dos sistemas de tutoreo; Seleccionar la mejor
combinación de los tratamientos evaluados y Realizar un análisis
económico de los tratamientos.
El experimento tuvo constituido con seis tratamientos y cuatro
repeticiones. Se utilizó el diseño de bloques completos al azar en arreglo
factorial 3 x 2, en la comparación de medias de tratamientos se utilizó
la prueba de Tukey al 5 % de probabilidad. Las variables evaluadas
fueron las siguientes: altura de planta (cm), diámetro del tallo, días a
floración, días a cosecha, numero de frutos por planta, longitud del fruto,
diámetro del fruto, peso de fruto en gramos y rendimiento (kg/ha).
Se concluyo: a) Los cultivares Cubanelle y Marconi fueron los que
presentaron mayor promedio de días a floración, mientras que Wonder
fue más precoz; b) En la variable longitud de fruto Cubanelle y Marconi
presentaron el mayor promedio, Wonder se destacó por presentar una
menor longitud; c) En las variables diámetro de fruto, peso de fruto y
rendimiento de frutos (kg/ha), el material de Wonder supero a los
cultivares Cubanelle y Marconi, siendo éste último material el que
presento los menores valores de peso de fruto y rendimiento; d) Por
efectos de tutoreo (tradicional y holandés) e interacción de materiales de
pimiento x tutoreo, no se encontró significancia estadística; y e) La

mejor tasa marginal de retorno fue pasarse del tratamiento uno (M1-T1)
al tratamiento tres (M2-T1) ya que se obtuvo el mayor ingreso marginal.

It was concluded: a) The Cubanelle and Marconi cultivars were those with highest average days to flowering, while Wonder was earlier; b) In the variable length Cubanelle fruit and Marconi had the highest average, Wonder stood out with a shorter length; c) In the fruit diameter, fruit weight and fruit yield (kg / ha), the material of Wonder outscored the Cubanelle and Marconi cultivars, the latter material being the one that presented the lowest values of fruit weight and performance ; d) For purposes of (traditional and Dutch) tutoring and interaction of materials pepper x trellising, no statistical significance was found; and e) The best marginal return rate was passed treatment one (M1-T1) treatment three (M2-T1) as the highest marginal income was obtained.
