Resumen
El presente estudio de investigación se originó al detectar el deficiente servicio de alojamiento que existe en Puerto Engabao, Cantón Playas. El objetivo es diagnosticar el servicio de alojamiento de la Comunidad. Se utilizó el enfoque mixto de tipo documental, bibliográfico y de campo, donde se analiza e implican los métodos teóricos y empíricos. Las técnicas requeridas fueron la observación, aplicando como herramientas la ficha de observación; las encuestas cuyo cuestionario cerrado fue aplicada a una muestra de 191 turistas que acudieron a la playa y la entrevista a una autoridad competente. Se identificó el déficit e inadecuada infraestructura turística dentro del servicio de alojamiento para los visitantes. Planteando como estrategia para el desarrollo y bienestar del lugar y como posible solución al inconveniente de hospedaje el diseño de un Campamento Turístico, permitiendo ayudar a fortalecer el desarrollo turístico con ideas innovadoras y de inversión con actividades turísticas recreativas para que se incrementen los ingresos económicos de la comunidad, recomendando a las autoridades y dirigentes a seguir en el proceso de inversión en beneficio del sector.
This research study originated by detecting poor hosting service that exists in Puerto Engabao, Canton Playas. The goal is to diagnose the hosting service of the Community. The mixed approach of documentary, bibliographic and field, where it is analyzed and involve theoretical and empirical methods used. The techniques were required observation, using as tools the observation sheet; surveys which closed questionnaire was applied to a sample of 191 tourists who came to the beach and the interview with a competent authority. The deficit and inadequate tourism infrastructure within the hosting service for visitors identified. Posing as a strategy for the development and welfare of the place and as a possible solution to the disadvantage of hosting the design of a tourist camp, allowing help strengthen tourism development with innovative and investment ideas with tourism for economic income will increase community, recommending to the authorities and leaders to follow in the investment process to benefit the sector.
