Estudio de la factibilidad de la producción y comercialización de fibra de plátano textil, a través del impulso del cambio de la matriz productiva del sector bananero

El Ecuador tradicional e internacionalmente se lo conoce por su gran capacidad productora y exportadora de banano, incluso ha llegado a ganarse el apelativo de “Banana Republic”, lo que no nos hace sentir para nada orgullosos, pues en realidad significa que sólo vendemos ese producto al mundo y de manera primaria. Hoy en día el Ecuador esta en un proceso de transformación integral, desde la ideología misma del gobierno nacional, impulsando el cambio de la matriz productiva. Debemos ser mayores y mejores proveedores de productos semielaborados y elaborados cada vez en mayor diversidad. Es innegable el desarrollo económico e industrial que se ha empezado a sentir en algunos sectores de la producción, pese a que hoy en día nos cubre una terrible sombra de la caída de los precios del petróleo, la misma que nos ha dejado muy en claro que no podemos seguir dependiendo de este rubro como principal fuente de ingreso de divisas para nuestra economía. El sector artesanal en Ecuador, está creciendo a pasos agigantados, y en especial el que se encuentra relacionado con el sector bananero, el desarrollo de una infinidad de productos provenientes del desecho de esta planta, ha generado muchísimas fuentes de empleo, mayor generación de riqueza, y por ende la inclusión de un mayor número de personas al sistema productivo. La fibra textil de banano ya no sólo se proyecta como una interesante fuente de trabajo e ingreso de divisas por concepto de sus exportaciones al mercado internacional, sino que esta ya es hoy en día una realidad que cada vez crece en diversidad y demanda por turistas extranjeros, y consumidores nacionales. La factibilidad de producción y comercialización de fibra textil de banano en diversos productos ya es una realidad, y de conformidad con los resultados obtenidos en el trabajo de campo y análisis de los mismos, se demuestra absolutamente la hipótesis propuesta, y el logro de los objetivos, convirtiéndose en una nueva línea de negocios sostenibles y sustentables para el Ecuador y quienes se dedican al comercio de sus productos en general.
The traditional Ecuador and internationally it is known for its great capacity producer and exporter of bananas, it has even come to earn the nickname of "Banana Republic", what we don't feel proud for nothing, because in reality means that only sell that product to the world and in primary. Today the Ecuador is in a process of transformation, from the same ideology of the national government, driving the change of the productive matrix. We need to be biggest and best suppliers of semifinished products and developed an increasing diversity. There is no denying the economic and industrial development that has begun to feel in some sectors of the production, despite the fact that today we cover a terrible shadow of the fall in oil prices, the same that we had made it very clear that we cannot continue to rely on this heading as the main source of income for our economy. The artisanal sector in Ecuador, is growing by leaps and bounds, and in particular which is related to the banana sector, the development of an infinite number of products from the waste of this plant, has generated many sources of employment, greater wealth generation, and hence the inclusion of a greater number of people to the productive system. The textile fiber banana already not only is projected as an interesting source of labor and foreign exchange earnings from its exports to the international market, but that is already is today a reality that there is growing in diversity and demand by foreign tourists, and domestic consumers. The feasibility of production and marketing of textile fiber of banana in various products is already a reality, and in accordance with the results obtained in the field work and analysis of the same, it shows absolutely the proposed hypothesis, and the achievement of the objectives, becoming a new line of business sustainable and maintainable for Ecuador and those who are involved in the trade of their products in general.
