Niveles de funcionalidad post tratamiento de pacientes con pie equino varo congénito en el Hospital Roberto Gilbert Elizalde año 2011 - 2014

Resumen
ANTECEDENTES: El Pie Equino Varo Congénito también conocido como pie zambo, es una de las patologías más frecuentes en Ortopedia Pediátrica además la incidencia va en aumento, según los estudios internacionales y datos obtenidos en el Hospital Roberto Gilbert Elizalde año 2011 – 2014 hay una predisposición en niños de género masculino en un 66%, mientras que en género femenino es del 34% , así mismo pudimos constatar que hay un predominio en Pie Equino Varo Congénito Bilateral con un porcentaje de 41% . El diagnóstico temprano de esta malformación es de gran importancia ya que se permite dar a conocer a los padres sobre la patología y el método más adecuado según el grado registrado al momento del nacimiento en la escala de Pirani, llegando a mejorar su función, y así su calidad de vida tanto en el ámbito familiar, social, económico. OBJETIVO: Determinar mediante el sistema de Pirani el grado de funcionalidad con el cual los pacientes quedan al finalizar el Método Ponseti, asi como evaluando su incremento de género y de predisposición hacia ambas extremidades inferiores. Aplicando en una población infantil de 130 pacientes entre 0 meses a 3 años. MÉTODOS: La información se obtuvo de la Base de Datos del Hospital Roberto Gilbert Elizalde años 2011 – 2014. Posteriormente se registró en el software Excel 2013.

OBJECTIVE: To determine by means of Pirani's system the degree of functionality with which the patients stay on having finished the Method Ponseti, this way like evaluating his increase of kind and of predisposition towards both low extremities. Applying in an infantile population of 130 patients between 0 months to 3 years METHODS: The information Roberto Gilbert Elizalde was obtained of the Database of the Hospital year 2011 - 2014. Later Excel was registered in the software 2013.
