Complicaciones y estancia hospitalaria de mujeres entre 15 y 90 años, sometidas a colecistectomía laparoscópica Hospital Luis Vernaza año 2014-2015

Resumen
Los problemas de vesícula y vías biliares son muy comunes en nuestro medio
especialmente en el sexo femenino representando la colelitiasis como la primera causa de
atención hospitalaria según el (INEC 2012). Es así que el gold estándar en el tratamiento
es la colecistectomía laparoscópica, esta técnica se ha mejorado en las últimas décadas
pero no está exenta de complicaciones, por ello el objetivo de esta investigación es
determinar las complicaciones y estancia hospitalaria de mujeres de sexo femenino entre
15 y 90 años. La recolección de datos para este estudio retrospectivo se realizó en el
hospital Luis Vernaza sala santa teresa, de historias clínicas que abarca periodo de agosto
2014 a enero2015. . Resultados: Se analizaron 175 pacientes de género femenino, de las
cuales presentaron complicaciones un 18.3 % (n=32), como sangrado en un 8.6%
(n=15), dolor abdominal 4% (n=7), lesión de la vía biliar en 1.1 % (2), El 4.57% (n=8)
requirió conversión a técnica convencional, el rango de edad más frecuente fue entre 30 a
44 años 30.9% (n=54), el promedio de edad fue 42.86 años, la estadía hospitalaria en un
rango de 1 a 5 días fue el 93.7%(n=164), la estadía hospitalaria en promedio fue de 3.12
días siendo mayor en las pacientes con complicaciones 5.6 días.
The problems of gallbladder and biliary tract are very common in our country especially in females representing cholelithiasis as the leading cause of hospital care according to (INEC 2012). Thus, the gold standard in the treatment is laparoscopic cholecystectomy, this technique has improved in recent decades but is not without its complications, so the goal of this research is to determine the complications and hospitalization of female among women 15 and 90 years. Data collection for this study was conducted retrospectively in Santa Teresa Luis Vernaza room, medical records covering a period of August 2014 enero2015 hospital. Results: 175 female patients, of which 18.3% had complications (n = 32) as bleeding in 8.6% (n = 15), abdominal pain were analyzed 4% (n = 7), injury of the road bile in 1.1% (2), the 4.57% (n = 8) required conversion to conventional art, the most common age range was between 30 to 44 years 30.9% (n=54), the average age was 42.86 years, hospital stay in a range of 1-5 days was 93.7% (n=164), the average hospital stay was 3.12 days was higher in the patients with complications 5.6 days.
