Resumen
El presente proyecto de titulación involucra a la Carrera de Geología que cuenta
con un Laboratorio de Suelos, Rocas y Minerales que permite el desarrollo
científico y tecnológico en el área de la minería; sin embargo, ellos no poseen una
herramienta que les permita almacenar la información de las investigaciones. Este
proyecto de titulación es parte esencial para organizar y almacenar esta
información; desde los datos de texto plano hasta los archivos multimedia, por
esta razón es importante el diseño del módulo multimedia y que el software sea
de calidad ajustándose a las necesidades del usuario. Su desarrollo se llevará a
cabo siguiendo la metodología prototipo tomando en cuenta que el software debe
interactuar con toda la comunidad de Ciencias Naturales incluyendo docentes,
estudiantes e investigadores del Laboratorio. El módulo multimedia desarrollado
en este estudio cumple con todos los requerimientos y estándares de calidad, así
como también con el desarrollo del marco teórico y la firma de aceptación de la
Carrera de Geología.
This thesis project involves the Geology department that has a soil, rocks and minerals lab that allows for scientific and technological development in the mining field, nevertheless, they do not possess a tool that allows them to store the research data. This thesis project takes a special part in organizing and storing this data, from plain text to multimedia files; this is why it's so important the design of the multimedia module as well as having a quality software fit for every user's needs. This project's development will be carried out according to the prototype methodology taking into account that the software must interact with the Natural Sciences community including professors, students and lab researchers. The multimedia module developed in this study meets the highest quality standards as well as the development of the theoretical framework and the acceptance signature of the Geology major.
