Resumen
El proyecto radica en solucionar un problema de tecnología que presenta la Escuela
Armada Nacional en el registro académico y que será en beneficio a la comunidad
educativa de la institución; mejorando la comunicación de los mismos. El objetivo de
este proyecto tesis radica en la implementación del sistema de gestión académica web
para la escuela “Armada Nacional” adaptado al nuevo modelo educativo ecuatoriano,
disponible en un ambiente web y al que puedan accesar los docentes en cualquier
momento desde sus hogares y áreas de trabajo. Complementando este proyecto se
realizó también el sitio web donde se alojará el sistema académico, facilitando con esto
la interacción entre el cuerpo docente, estudiantes y representantes; de esta manera
mejorando la comunicación entre la comunidad educativa. El sistema está desarrollado
en PHP con una base de datos en MYSQL, y se encuentra alojado en un hosting y para
el sitio web se utilizó el gestor de contenido DRUPAL. Se desarrolló bajo una modalidad
de investigación de tipo factible, ya que consistió en la investigación, elaboración y
desarrollo de un modelo operativo viable para solucionar los problemas que tenía la
institución, incidirá de manera favorable ya que podrán tener un mejor control de las
actividades académicas de sus representados y los profesores al ser un proceso
automatizado, contarán con más tiempo para investigación.
The project is to solve a problem of technology that presents the Navy School in the academic record and that will benefit the educational community of the institution; improving communication thereof. The aim of this thesis project lies in the implementation of academic management system web for "Army National" school adapted to the new Ecuadorian educational model available in a web environment and that teachers can access at any time from their homes and areas of work. Complementing this project the website where the academic system will be accommodated, facilitating this interaction between faculty, students and representatives also performed; thereby improving communication between the educational community. The system is developed in PHP with a MySQL database, and is hosted on a hosting and website content manager DRUPAL used. It was developed under a research modality feasible kind, which consisted of research, design and development of a viable business model to solve the problems that had the institution, it will impact favorably because they can have better control of academic activities their constituents and teachers to be an automated process, they will have more time to research.
