ANÁLISIS DE FACTIBILIDAD HACIA LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA HERRAMIENTA INFORMÁTICA QUE PERMITA EL MONITOREO Y CONTROL VEHICULAR DEL ÁREA DE DIVISIÓN DE MANTENIMIENTO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUIL

Resumen
La Universidad de Guayaquil cuenta con medios de transporte terrestre propios,
destinados a la movilización de quienes integran la institución, por lo cual deben
ser controlados, dicho control necesita actualizar sus procesos con herramientas
informáticas que permitan el monitoreo desde una interfaz web en tiempo real y
desde cualquier lugar, de tal manera que se optimice el uso y tener mayor
seguridad de los mismos, en base a esto se busca realizar un análisis hacia la
implementación de un software libre que se adapte a las necesidades de los
Administradores del área y con el control automatizado y monitoreo de los
vehículos a través de un mapa digital, debido a que este proceso se lo realiza de
forma manual mediante bitácoras que no contienen la suficiente información y que
por ende no tienen un control mayor sobre dichos recursos, ya que no generan
reportes con datos exactos de ubicación en tiempo real sobre los vehículos.
