Resumen
En la actualidad muchos de los centros maternos públicos necesitan de un sistema integral basados en procesos que permitan mayor rapidez en los servicios que brindan a la ciudadanía, pero debido a que no cuentan con los recursos financieros necesarios tal objetivo se ha tornado en una tarea difícil de ejecutar.
La investigación preliminar està realizada en base al Hospital materno Infantil “Mariana de Jesús”, y Maternidad del Guasmo, las cuales son Instituciones Públicas, sin fines de lucro, ubicadas en la Ciudad de Guayaquil, en la calle 27ava y Rosendo Avilés y en el Guasmo Central. El Hospital Materno “Mariana de Jesús” tiene a su cargo 3 Centros y 3 Subcentros de salud, los mismos que están en el área de esta Unidad, mientras que la maternidad del Guasmo tiene a su cargo 7 centros y 4 Subcentros.
Ambas Instituciones proporciona servicios médicos a la Comunidad, tanto a nivel externo como interno; en el área externa, en las especializaciones de Obstetricia, Ginecología, Cirugía General, Psiquiatría, Medicina General, Pediatría, Laboratorio y Odontología. A nivel Interno (Hospitalización), Cirugías menores, Cesáreas, Parto normal y Legrados.
Los financiamientos de los gastos de estas Unidades, son proporcionados por el Estado, mediante diferentes programas de maternidad. Su Directorio es cambiado cada cierto tiempo, según lo disponga la Autoridad Provincial La administración es repartida entre Director, Jefe Financiera y Administradora. Actualmente, estas Instituciones no cuenta con un sistema automatizado y todas sus actividades son realizadas de manera manual.
Este proyecto está enfocado a estas entidades (sin considerar los Centros y Subcentros que tiene a cargo), pero con la posibilidad de que sea utilizado de manera general por otras instituciones públicas que requieran el servicio de los mismos
Today many public maternity centers need a comprehensive system based on processes that allow faster in the services provided to citizens, but because they do not have the financial resources to this goal has become a difficult task run.
