Resumen
Se revisarán las diferentes medidas aplicadas en el ámbito de la política comercial e industrial. Para ello se analizará la política de restricción de importaciones que aplica el régimen de manera reiterativa aumentando los impuestos al Comercio Exterior y encareciendo los insumos. Además, se analizará los efectos que han tenido estas medidas en el sistema industrial en el Ecuador, el mismo que evidencia un estancamiento según cifras recogidas por el Banco Central del Ecuador. Adicionalmente se establecen estrategias enmarcadas a generar una mayor productividad y competitividad en el País, a partir de la revisión de la Política Comercial e Industrial, en aspectos como la imposición de barreras al Comercio Exterior, determinando en este marco que debe existir una relación coherente entre la política Comercial e Industrial.
The various measures applied in the field of trade and industrial policy will be reviewed.
