Resumen
Nobol es un Cantón de la provincia del Guayas donde se pudo detectar el
ingreso constante de turistas cuyo motivo principal de visita era el turismo
religioso que se desarrolla en el lugar. El objetivo principal de esta investigación
es determinar el perfil del turista que visita Nobol, para proponer un producto de
turismo vivencial, que de alguna manera contribuya a la diversificación de las
actividades y ofertas turísticas en Nobol. Se utilizó un enfoque mixto donde se
usó las diferentes técnicas y herramientas como son las fichas de observación,
las encuestas y entrevista. Como población universo se consideraron los turistas,
por lo cual se utilizó la formula finita para determinar la muestra de visitantes,
cuyo resultado dio una población de 381 turistas a encuestar, indicando que los
turistas son mayoritariamente de la región costa interesados en realizar
actividades de turismo vivencial e impulsar el turismo con nuevas actividades
turísticas que motiven a visitar dicho cantón.
