Resumen
La Isla de Jambelí tiene una variedad de restaurantes entre los cuales se seleccionó una
muestra de cinco establecimientos en los que se pudo determinar una deficiencia en la calidad
de los servicios que estos ofrecen. Ya que no cumplen con los requisitos establecidos por los
diferentes órganos reguladores.
Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se revisó información bibliográfica histórica,
epistemológica y teórica para conocer las bases del tema, así como también las leyes que
tienen relación con la problemática de estudio para llevar a cabo una solución a la
investigación. Debido a esto fue necesario el uso de técnicas y herramientas, obteniendo
información directamente del sitio de estudio que luego fue examinada, teniéndola en cuenta a
la hora de la toma de decisiones.
Por esto se elaboró de un plan de calidad para mejorar la atención al cliente de los cinco
restaurantes elegidos, que permitirá a los propietarios y administradores lograr una mayor
competitividad dentro del mercado turístico de la Isla.

That is why a quality plan was developed to improve the customer service of the five restaurants chosen, which will allow owners and managers to achieve greater competitiveness within the island's tourism market.
