Resumen
El tratamiento con prótesis fija consiste en la sustitución o restauración de los dientes naturales mediante la colocación de análogos artificiales que se van a mantener fijos en la boca. Sus objetivos son la restauración estética, el restablecimiento de la función y el mantenimiento de la comodidad. El tratamiento con prótesis fija puede aportar un elevado nivel de satisfacción tanto al paciente como al dentista. Para alcanzar unos resultados predecibles en esta disciplina tan exigente y precisa se requiere dedicar una atención meticulosa a todos los detalles desde el momento de la entrevista inicial del paciente y la obtención del diagnóstico, pasando por todas las fases activas del tratamiento y finalizando con la planificación de citas de seguimiento. La presente investigación corresponde a un estudio experimental donde el paciente con desajuste marginal en carillas de pz 12 y 22, y cavidad clase III y IV en las pz 11 y 21 , serán rehabilitadas con coronas completas de cerámica pura devolviéndole a la estructura remanente; resistencia, estabilidad y estética.
Treatment with fixed prosthesis is the replacement or restoration of natural teeth by placing artificial analogues will be maintained fixed in the mouth. Its objectives are the aesthetic restoration, restoring function and maintaining comfort. Treatment with fixed prosthesis can provide a high level of satisfaction of both the patient and the dentist. To achieve predictable results in this demanding discipline and accurate is required to devote meticulous attention to detail from the moment of the initial interview the patient and obtaining the diagnosis, through all active phases of the treatment and ending with planning follow-up appointments. This research corresponds to an experimental study where the patient with marginal gap in veneers pz 12 and 22, and cavity Class III and IV in the pz 11 and 21, will be rehabilitated with full crowns of pure ceramic returning to the remaining structure ; strength, stability and aesthetics.
