Resumen
La TELEMEDICINA afronta diferentes problemas que se presentan en la
prestación de servicios de salud, es necesario identificar claramente la
situación actual de la formación de los médicos en el área de la
tecnología informática .La Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo
de Guayaquil acorde con los nuevos retos de las instituciones de
Educación Superior con el respaldo de sus recursos y su infraestructura ,
se ha propuesto realizar una investigación que tiene como parámetros la
problemática del uso de las TICS en la formación del Médico .Se cuenta
con el apoyo para la implementación del Departamento virtual de ELEARNING
en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la UEES , debido a los
retos actuales en lo referente a la atención a los pacientes , como por
ejemplo :Los pacientes actualmente usan mucho las TICS e ingresan a la
consulta dando su diagnostico y sugiriendo su tratamiento , además de
el reto de la modalidad de la enseñanza y cómo los estudiantes usan
programas de informática para consultar cuadros clínicos y diagnósticos
diferenciales con software y simuladores.
Es por esto que la propuesta de Departamento virtual es un beneficio
para los para los estudiantes , la institución, y la comunidad en general
.
Los resultados buscados en este proyecto para alcanzar ese objetivo son
dos: La creación de una red virtual que agrupe software , (ambientes
Virtuales de Aprendizaje ) Simuladores con muñecos , Bibliotecas
Virtuales , E-Journal Club , etc que permita optimizar la formación
médica y procurar un desempeño profesional .Dotar a los docentes de lo
recursos necesarios para la aplicación y el uso de las TICS como
herramienta obligatoria.
The TELEMEDICINE faces different problems in the provision of health services, it is necessary to clearly identify the current status of the training of doctors in the area of computer technology. The University of Espiritu Santo in Guayaquil in line with the new challenges of higher education institutions supported by resources and infrastructure, it is proposed to conduct an investigation that has as parameters the problem of the use of ICT in the formation of physician. We have the support to implement virtual From the Department of Elearning in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UEES, due to the current challenges regarding the care of patients, for example: Patients currently using much the TICS and enter the query giving his diagnosis and suggested treatment in addition to the challenge of the mode of teaching and how students use computer programs to query clinical differential diagnosis and software simulators. That is why the proposed Department is a benefit for for students, for the institution to the community at large. The results of this project sought to achieve this goal are two: 1) The creation of a virtual network that brings together software (virtual learning environments) Simulators with dolls, virtual Biblotecas, EJournal Club, etc. to improve medical training and a better current job performance. 2) Provide teachers the resources needed for implementation and use of ICT as a tool mandatory.
