12 a 18 años.
The average interincisal diastema, is prevalent in 98% of children 6 and 7 years old, but its incidence decreased to 7% in adolescents aged 12 to 18 years. Is a relatively common condition, attributed to genetic, environmental or acquired factors, whose importance lies in making an etiologic diagnosis accurately in order to carry out proper treatment, avoiding the problem have recurrence to after treatment, which is very common in this type of problem. By treating our goal was to determine the effect of using helical spring plate with bite modified up to previous diastema closure. After making our treatment for diastema cierrre using plate coil spring lift bite modified during the period of 1 month. In this period it was performed three activations of said plate and the first activation resulted reducing 1mm space, in the second activation one more millimeter and the third activation gave a total of 3 mm closing space we consider that the treatment had a successful application for the treatment of this disease in patients with mixed dentition.
