Resumen
El presente análisis parte de la investigación de la televisión analógica donde incluye la descripción de los esquemas de la televisión digital en el Ecuador, se enfatiza en la realidad Ecuatoriana y sobre los cambios socio-económicos que con lleva el cambio a la televisión digital. Se realiza un repaso a la historia de la televisión desde sus primeras fuentes hasta la actualidad describiendo los estándares disponibles en el mercado, refiriéndonos a las experiencias en los países donde ya fue implementada la televisión digital terrestre y su aplicación en el mercado mundial. Es importante conocer el uso, hábitos y preferencias de la televisión en los habitantes del Ecuador, que sirve de plataforma para conocer el impacto que tendrá la implementación de la televisión digital terrestre en el Ecuador y específicamente en el sector de la Urbanización " San Felipe" perteneciente a la Ciudad de Guayaquil. El método por el cual se va a obtener la información va hacer por medio de la investigación de campo y encuesta, en las cuales serán de gran importancia el tomar en cuenta los objetivos planteados en la aplicación de la televisión digital. La ejecución de la TDT (Televisión Digital Terrestre) se constituye en una oportunidad para mejorar la inclusión social, promover la democratización y descentralización de los medios de comunicación.
The present analysis departs from the investigation of the analogical television where it includes the description of the schemes of the digital television in Ecuador; one emphasizes Ecuadoran reality and on the socio-economic changes that leads to the digital television. A revision is realized to the history of the television from its first sources up to the actuality describing the available standards on the market, referring to the experiences in the countries where there was already implemented the terrestrial digital television and its application on the world market. It is important to know the use, habits and preferences of television in the Ecuador inhabitants, which serves as platform to know the impact that will have the implementation of the terrestrial digital television in the country and specifically in the area of "San Felipe" belonging to Guayaquil City. The method through information will be obtained are the field investigation and polls, on which will be of great importance taking into consideration the targets raised in the application of the digital television. The execution of the TDT (Terrestrial Digital Television) is constituted in an opportunity to improve the social inclusion, to promote the democratization and decentralization of the mass media.
