Resumen
El diseño de las redes inalámbricas permitirá ampliar el desarrollo tecnológico, proporcionando un aumento en el rendimiento intelectual de la ciudadanía brindando movilidad, seguridad y una excelente cobertura al momento de acceder a la información. El presente trabajo de investigación sobre el estudio del impacto de la eficiencia del internet brindado por el Municipio de Durán en el sector Atahualpa 125 y Loja, se centra en el proceso técnico (cobertura, segmentación y ancho de banda), para dar respuesta a las interrogantes planteadas en la investigación, se utiliza la técnica de la entrevista aplicada, al jefe del departamento de las tics. La investigación fue de tipo cualitativa con enfoque descriptivo, el propósito de este estudio es identificar las falencias con respecto a la calidad del servicio que se brinda en el sector, la incorrecta distribución de equipos, el escaso tiempo de acceso a internet y el limitado ancho de banda que ofrece. Este resultado se obtiene de las encuestas realizadas a los habitantes del sector. Verificando los distintos problemas que existen, considerando que la tecnología avanza y la necesidad de estar conectados a internet es mayor cada día se sugiere el incremento en ancho de banda para lograr de esta manera una red estable con mayor tiempo de conexión para el usuario, mejorando la calidad y utilización de servicio.
The design of wireless networks will allow expanding technological development, providing an increase in intellectual performance of citizenship giving us mobility, security and excellent coverage at the time of access to the information. The present research work on the study of the impact of the efficiency of the internet provided by the Municipality of Durán in the sector Atahualpa 125 and Loja, focuses on the technical process (coverage, segmentation and bandwidth), to respond to the questions raised in the research, used the interview technique applied to the head of the Tics Department. The research was qualitative type with descriptive approach, the purpose of this study is to identify the shortcomings with respect to the quality of the service provided in the sector, the incorrect distribution of equipment, insufficient internet access time and limited bandwidth offered. This result is obtained from the surveys to the inhabitants of the sector. Checking the various problems that exist, considering that technology advances and the need of being connected to the internet is greater every day it is suggested the increase in bandwidth to achieve in this way a stable network with more connection time for the user, improving the quality and use of service.
