Resumen
La presente investigación se realiza en la Carrera de Literatura y Español de la Facultad de Filosofía,Letras y Ciencias de la Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil en el año 2012.La investigación responde a la modalidad de un proyecto de investigación factible,el mismo que se caracteriza por un
diagnóstico del problema,para plantear una alternativa de solución al mismo.Las principales conclusiones y recomendaciones arrojadas por la investigación,determinarán la necesidad de una Guía para fortalecer la lectura crítica de los estudiantes de la Carrera.Uno de los principales problemas de la educación nacional,radica precisamente en la lectura,tanto en los hábitos de lectura como en la profundidad de la misma. La carrera en estudio debería destacarse en el manejo de las habilidades lingüísticas del manejo de la lectura y de la escritura, las dos constituyen la base de la educación y la comunicación social.De allí la necesitad y trascendencia de la presente investigación. La investigación a más de responder a un proyecto factible se caracteriza por integrar una investigación bibliográfica en función de las variables de investigación,lo que permitió estructurar el marco teórico; y por otro lado la investigación de campo que permitió conocer en el lugar de los hechos, los problemas que manifiestan los jóvenes de la Carrera en el manejo de las competencias lingüísticas y comunicativas de lectura, en su formación profesional como docentes de Literatura y español en el sistema educativo nacional. Lamentablemente,el sistema educativo nacional debe afrontar como una de sus responsabilidades,los problemas de nuestra juventud respecto a sus niveles y hábitos de lectura, situación que se constituye en un problema en su formación profesional y luego en su desempeño como docentes.

Unfortunately,the national education system must address as one of its responsibilities,the problems of our youth about their reading habits and levels,a situation that becomes a problem in your training and then their performance as teachers
