Resiliencia de un grupo de estudiantes en el colegio “Provincia de Tungurahua”, 2015

Resumen
La resiliencia se compone por el nivel de desarrollo normal en todas las dimensiones que componen al ser humano, vale decir en lo físico, cognitivo, emocional y social. En el Colegio Provincia de Tungurahua Vespertina, se ha venido observando que existe un grupo de estudiantes con características resilientes estos estudiantes han buscado formas de afrontamiento para continuar sobreviviendo a pesar de su situación social familiar crítica. Para ello se planteó Caracterizar la resiliencia en un grupo de adolescentes del Colegio Provincia de Tungurahua, Identificar factores sociodemográficos, el nivel de resiliencia y por último describir la dimensión de resiliencia predominante. La presente investigación articula métodos e instrumentos predominantemente cuantitativos con presencia de aspectos cualitativos es un diseño no experimental, transversal descriptivo. Se emplearon dos entrevistas y la escala de resiliencia (Connor Davidson Resilience Scale, CD-RISC). Como resultados obtuvimos predominancia de sexo masculino y de familia nuclear, un nivel alto de resiliencia en la mayoría de los estudiantes. La dimensión predominante de resiliencia resultó ser la aceptación positiva al cambio la cual desarrollan con una relación adecuada con la familia, con un adecuado control personal, positividad ante todo, proyectos de cumplir metas y la presencia de creencias religiosas. Concluimos que son resortes importantes para lograr ser resiliente en este grupo la familia, los proyectos de vida, el control personal la positividad y tener alguna creencia religiosa.
Resilience is composed by the level of normal development in all the dimensions that make up the human being, that is, in the physical, cognitive, emotional and social. At the Colegio Provincia Tungurahua Vespertina, it has been observed that there is a group of students with resilient characteristics these students have sought ways of coping to continue to survive despite their critical family social situation. To this end, it was proposed to characterize resilience in a group of adolescents of Colegio Provincia de Tungurahua, to identify socio-demographic factors, the level of resilience and finally to describe the predominant resilience dimension. The present research articulates predominantly quantitative methods and instruments with the presence of qualitative aspects is a non - experimental, descriptive transversal design. Two interviews and the Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) were used. As results we obtained predominance of male and nuclear family, a high level of resilience in the majority of students. The predominant dimension of resilience turned out to be positive acceptance of change, which they develop with an adequate relationship with the family, with adequate personal control, positivity above all, projects to meet goals and the presence of religious beliefs. We conclude that they are important springs to achieve to be resilient in this group the family, the life projects, the personal control the positivity and to have some religious belief.
