The company constantly develops continuous improvement efforts in all its areas, in this way efficiently guarantees its manpower, processes and products; in this sense, the objective of the present work is to improve the profile production process. For the purposes of this work was used the descriptive, exploitative and analytical methodology, where they allowed to collect the necessary information and, to apply the Ishikawa and Pareto diagrams to identify the main causes that originate high unproductive times, being these the method of work with which activities and mechanical damage in the profiling machines, resulting in 24.59 and 19.56 unproductive hours each month respectively, working with an inefficiency of 66% and whose economic losses amount to $ 24,646.68 per year. For the solution of problem one of the tools of Industrial Engineering arises; the Study of Times and Movements, where it combines unnecessary activities and standardize the times per each activity of the profile manufacturing process, whose improvement is significant as evidence by the increase in productivity in the 3 lines. The idea requires an investment of $ 4,119.15, where it would save the company $ 15,105.26 a year.
