Resumen
El desarrollo de la siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la cadena de suministro ya implementada en la empresa HIVIMAR S.A. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo y explicativo con el objetivo de exponer las falencias que se presentan en el problema ya planteado y así mejorar los tiempos de entrega contemplando el crecimiento de la empresa. Se expone la justificación del problema con sus respectivos objetivos a alcanzar, aspectos teóricos que han sido utilizados en el proyecto, bases legales, técnicas y una descripción del área en el cual se enfoca el proyecto. Posterior a este se describen los procesos que se realizan en el área de logística. Para poder determinar cuál es la ruta de transporte óptima se utilizó un modelo matemático de trasbordo, el cual señala el costo mínimo posible, las rutas principales que deben incluirse y que rutas deberían sujetarse a logística externa.

A quantitative and explanatory study was made with the objective of showing the failures already identified in order to improve time deliveries considering the growth of the company. The justification of the problem is presented with its respective objectives to be achieved; technical aspects that have been used in the proyect, legal bases, techniques and a description of the area on witch the proyect focused. Then to this, the processes that are realized in the area of logistics are described. In order to determine the optimal transport route, mathematical model transshipment was used, witch indicates the minimum possible cost, the main rutes to be included and witch routes should be threated by external logistics.
