Estudio descriptivo y exploratorio del uso de TIC`S en el proceso de aprendizaje por los estudiantes de instituciones de Educación Superior

Resumen
El uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación en la actualidad, se han
convertido en un instrumento fundamental para el desarrollo de procesos investigativos así
como también científicos, facilitando el progreso y ejecución de una investigación
elaborada ya sea por científicos, doctores o estudiantes, estos últimos fueron los que
incitaron al desarrollo de este trabajo de titulación denominado: “Estudio descriptivo y
exploratorio del uso de tic’s en el proceso de aprendizaje por los estudiantes de
instituciones de educación superior”, cuya finalidad fue determinar la incidencia de estas
tecnologías en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, y sobre todo si estas tecnologías
incurren en la deserción estudiantil, por lo cual este trabajo fue desarrollado bajo cuatro
capítulos de los cuales; en el capítulo uno se planteó el problema identificado, así mismo se
estructuró formalmente la idea de la investigación, es decir la formulación del problema,
luego se estableció el objetivo a considerar en este tema, por consiguiente se justificó la
importancia de proceder en este estudio de investigación, seguida de una precisa
delimitación del lugar donde se efectuó la investigación.
Posteriormente en el capítulo dos se indagó y examinó proyectos anteriores equivalentes o
similares a este tipo de investigación, es decir antecedentes, lo que sirvió de apoyo para
conceptualizar algunos temas muy importantes en este proyecto, estableciendo así el marco
conceptual en el cual están inmiscuidas definiciones referidas a teorías, tipos, estilos y
estrategias de aprendizajes. Seguidamente se identificó el marco contextual de la
investigación, el cual hace referencia al entorno donde se efectuó dicho estudio.
Más adelante en el capítulo tres se especificó el diseño de la investigación a concebir desde
el enfoque cualitativo, tomando en consideración el tipo de investigación acorde a este
estudio y la metodología a seguir, de los cuales se consideró y se empleó aquellas técnicas e
instrumentos indispensables para fijar la población y muestra de la investigación, a partir de
la implementación de dichas técnicas e instrumentos se obtuvieron resultados los cuales
fueron posteriormente analizados. Finalmente para la culminación de este estudio de
investigación en el capítulo cuatro se especificó las respectivas conclusiones en base al
análisis de resultados obtenidos sobre el uso de tic`s en el proceso de aprendizaje y
principalmente determinando si estas inciden en la deserción estudiantil.
The use of information and communication technologies nowadays have become a fundamental instrument for the development of investigative as well as scientific processes, facilitating the progress and execution of a research elaborated either by scientists, doctors or students, The latter were the ones that incited the development of this titling work denominated: “Descriptive and exploratory study of the use of ICT in the learning process by the students of institutions of higher education.”, whose purpose was to determine the incidence of these technologies in the learning process of students, and especially if these technologies incur student dropout, so this work was developed under four chapters of which; In chapter one the problem was identified, and the idea of research was formally structured, that is, the formulation of the problem, Then the objective to be considered in this subject was established, therefore the importance of proceeding in this research study was justified, followed by a precise delimitation of the place where the research was carried out. Subsequently in chapter two, previous projects equivalent or similar to this type of research were investigated and examined, that is antecedents, which served as a support to conceptualize some very important issues in this project, establishing the conceptual framework in which definitions are related to theories, types, styles and strategies of learning. The contextual framework of the research was then identified, which refers to the environment where the study was carried out. Later in chapter three the research design to be conceived from the qualitative approach was specified, taking into consideration the type of investigation according to this study and the methodology to be followed, of which it was considered and used those techniques and indispensable instruments to fix the population and sample of the investigation, from the implementation of these techniques and instruments results were obtained which were later analyzed. Finally, for the culmination of this research study in chapter four, the respective conclusions were specified based on the analysis of the results obtained on the use of ICT in the learning process and mainly determining if they affect in the student dropout.
