Uso de Doramectina en el tratamiento para cánidos infestados por Demodex sp

Resumen
Esta investigación se llevó a cabo en las clínicas veterinarias del norte de la ciudad. Se muestreó un total de 45 caninos, divididos en tres grupos de 15 caninos cada uno. Los objetivos de esta investigación fueron: - Definir la dosificación del empleo de la Doramectina en cánidos infestados por Demodex Canis - Determinar en cuanto tiempo son observables los beneficios del tratamiento - Determinar el balance químico hepático en animales resistentes en la Doramectina. La frecuencia y uso de la Doramectina en caninos fue: aplicación cada 7 días durante 9 semanas, a dosis: - 200 ug/kg peso – Primer grupo - 400 uh/kg peso – Segundo grupo - 600 ug/KG peso – Tercer grupo.
La via de administración: subcutánea. Del total de 45 caninos e independientemente del tipo de tratamiento: - 21 se curaron de la sarna Demodecica al final de la novena semana de tratamiento fue de un 46.7% efectivo.
Periodos de Recuperación • Primer grupo : 4 a 6 semanas hubo 2 recuperación que representa el 66,7% , y en 3 semanas posteriores hubo una recuperación mas
• Segundo grupo -: las 3 primeras semanas no hubo recuperación, a partir de la sexta semana hubo 4 recuperados, que representa el 50%, entre la séptima y novena semana hubo 4 recuperaciones mas. • Tercer grupo: las 3 primeras semanas no hubo recuperación, en la sexta semana se recuperaron 8, que representa el 80&, y las 3 semanas ultimas 2 caninos mas. A los caninos que fueron tratados con Doratecmina del primero, segundo y tercer grupo y que no lograron recuperarse de la sarna Demodecica luego de 9 semanas de tratamientos se realizaron pruebas hepáticas. - El 66.67 % presentaron un nivel alto de ALT entre los niveles de 23.2 y 36.4 a los valores de referencia; - El 20.83 % presentaron un nivel de ALT entre 10 y 23.2; - Y un 12.5 % un nivel de ALT de 49.6

This research was conducted at the North Veterinary Clinics. 45 canines were sampled and divided into three groups. The effectiveness percentage was 46.7% Recovery times * First group: In a period of 4-6 weeks there were two recoveries representing a 66.7%. Three weeks later, there was one more recovery. * Second group: The first three weeks there were no signs of recovery. It was not until the sixth week that there were 4 recoveries representing 50%. There were four more recoveries between the 7th and 9th week. * Third group: The first three weeks was not observed any recovery sign. At week 8th, there were 8 recoveries representing 80% and the last two weeks two more canines were recovered. The canines of the first, second and third group treated with Doramectine that did not recover after a 9 weeks period, hepatic test were conducted. * 66.67% presented values of ALT between 23.2 and 36.4, which is a higher level compared with the normal reference value. * 20.83% presented an ALT value between 10.0 and 23.2 * And a 12.5% , an ALT level between 43.6 ALT reference value: 2.2 - 20.0 In regard of the levels: * AST 8.33% between 10.0 and 23.2 * AST 54.17% between 26.0 and 41.0 * AST 16.17% between 41.0 and 55.0 AST Reference value: 4.0 – 20
