Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación tiene como objetivo sistematizar las experiencias dentro del proyecto de prevención de Violencia de Género de la Universidad de Guayaquil a través de talleres de sensibilización para orientar y concientizar sobre dicha problemática y favorecer a la misma. Se logró a través de actividades que se dieron en diferentes fases, visualizar un cambio de constructos mediante la reflexión, sobre las creencias y actitudes que los estudiantes reflejaban al finalizar los talleres, además, por medio del análisis y la síntesis de la experiencia. Entendemos por violencia de género a cualquier acto de maltrato o agresión en contra del sexo opuesto o del mismo sexo, enmarcada en la desigualdad de las relaciones y la dominación de poder, pueden tener como consecuencias daño físico, sexual o psicológico. En esta sistematización se ha podido evidenciar que la violencia de género es un problema que aún está padeciendo nuestra sociedad. La sociedad ha sido testigo en reiteradas ocasiones de actos que discriminan y humillan a las mujeres por su condición de género, actos que están fundamentados en estereotipos y creencias arraigadas desde tiempos antiguos. El agresor ejerce una actitud autoritaria y controladora sobre ella, incluso se dan agresiones que llegan al maltrato físico o la muerte. Las cifras de violencia hacia la mujer en nuestro país son alarmantes lo cual nos llevó a reflexionar cuán importante es prevenir la violencia de género, por lo que se deben implementar estrategias efectivas para prevenir y erradicar este fenómeno social que nos aqueja
The present titling work aims to systematize the experiences within the project of prevention of Gender Violence of the University of Guayaquil through sensitization workshops to guide and raise awareness about this problem and to promote it. It was achieved through activities that took place in different phases, to visualize a change of constructs through reflection, on the beliefs and attitudes that the students reflected at the end of the workshops, in addition, through the analysis and the synthesis of the experience. We understand by gender violence any act of abuse or aggression against the opposite sex or the same sex, framed in the inequality of the relations and the domination of power, can have as consequences physical, sexual or psychological damage. In this systematization it has been demonstrated that gender violence is a problem that is still suffering our society. Society has repeatedly witnessed acts that discriminate against and humiliate women because of their gendered nature, acts that are based on stereotypes and beliefs rooted in ancient times. The aggressor exerts an authoritarian and controlling attitude on it, even giving aggressions that lead to physical abuse or death. The figures for violence against women in our country are alarming, which led us to reflect on how important it is to prevent gender-based violence, so effective strategies must be implemented to prevent and eradicate this social phenomenon that afflicts us
