FACTORES PSICOSOCIALES Y LA REPERCUCIÓN EN EL ESTADO EMOCIONAL DEL ADULTO MAYOR QUE ASISTE A LA FUNDACIÓN NURTAC

Abstract

La Investigación se realizó en la Fundación NURTAC, en el período comprendido entre junio y agosto del 2017. La población adulta mayor atendida, presentaban problemas en las relaciones intrafamiliares, padeciendo, baja autoestima, sentimiento de soledad, tristeza, y afrontando negativamente el proceso del envejecimiento. Se estudiaron los factores psicosociales y la repercusión en el estado de emocional del adulto mayor. El objetivo planteado fue analizar los factores psicosociales y la repercusión en el estado emocional de los adultos mayores que asisten a la fundación NURTAC. Por lo tanto el objeto de estudio son los estados emocionales del adulto mayor que asiste a la Fundación NURTAC. Como eje se analizaron los factores psicosociales de riesgos y protectores. La población estudiada fueron 12 adultos mayores. Entre los criterios de inclusión: no presentar deterioro cognitivo, y firmar consentimiento informado. El enfoque metodológico fue cualitativo descriptivo y explicativo y transversal. Métodos: Observación- análisis y síntesis, bibliográfico, técnicas: entrevistas, instrumentos como el test MMSE, el índice de Katz y la escala de Lawton y Brody, la prueba del Funcionamiento Familiar, la Escala de Yesavage y el Inventario de Coopersmith. Los resultados obtenidos, muestran la relación del medio social y familiar en el estado emocional del adulto mayor

The research was conducted at the NURTAC Foundation, in the period between June and August 2017. The elderly population attended, presented problems in intrafamilial relationships, suffering, low self-esteem, feeling of loneliness, sadness, and negatively facing the process of aging. The psychosocial factors and the impact on the emotional state of the older adult were studied. The objective was to analyze the psychosocial factors and the impact on the emotional state of the elderly who attend the NURTAC foundation. Therefore, the object of study is the emotional states of the older adult who attends the NURTAC Foundation. As an axis, the psychosocial factors of risks and protectors were analyzed. The population studied was 12 older adults. Among the inclusion criteria: not present cognitive impairment, and sign informed consent. The methodological approach was qualitative descriptive and explanatory and transversal. Methods: Observation - analysis and synthesis, bibliography, techniques: interviews, instruments such as the MMSE test, the Katz index and the Lawton and Brody scale, the Family Function test, the Yesavage Scale and the Coopersmith Inventory. The results obtained show the relationship between the social and family environment in the emotional state of the older adult
