Resumen
Las practicas pre profesionales en el Hospital Docente de la Policía Nacional Guayaquil # 2 dieron paso a efectuar la sistematización de experiencias sobre las vivencias afectivas y salud mental de pacientes con diagnóstico de enfermedad renal crónica sometidos a tratamiento de hemodiálisis, con este estudio se buscó comprender la manera en la que los pacientes vivencian afectivamente la enfermedad renal crónica, y a partir de aquello el impacto que estas tienen en su salud mental. Para lograr los objetivos planteados se realizó la revisión de las historias clínicas de los pacientes, las cuales fueron facilitadas por el servicio de nefrología, a partir de esto se ejecutó un proceso de entrevistas a un total de 12 pacientes, para obtener información sobre que vivencias afectivas experimentan a partir de su enfermedad. Se pudo determinar que lo principal que afecta a la salud mental de la mayoría de pacientes con ERC es la ansiedad y depresión, repercutiendo a su vez la forma de afrontar la enfermedad y su adherencia al tratamiento

This study sought to understand the way in which patients experience affective chronic kidney disease, and from that the impact they have on their mental health. To achieve the proposed objectives, a review of the patient's medical records was made, which were facilitated by the nephrology service. From this, a process of interviewing a total of 12 patients was carried out to obtain information on what experiences they had. Affective people experience from their illness. It was determined that the main thing that affects the mental health of most patients with CKD is anxiety and depression, which in turn has an impact on the way of coping with the disease and its adherence to treatment
