LA ORIENTACIÓN VOCACIONAL Y SU IMPORTANCIA PARA LA ELECCIÓN DE LA ESPECIALIDAD EN ADOLESCENTES ESCOLARIZADOS

Resumen
La experiencia se plasmó en la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Domingo Savio” durante los meses de junio a diciembre del 2016 con el apoyo del Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil, Padres de Familia, Docentes, Pasantes y Estudiantes del Décimo Grado de Educación Básica. Estas prácticas tuvieron como finalidad analizar el proceso de Orientación Vocacional cubriendo uno de los requerimientos establecidos dentro del proceso de formación de estudiantes previo a la obtención de un título profesional. Como resultado de la experiencia, fue evidente que el proceso de Orientación Vocacional se cumple desde un marco legal sin abarcar aspectos personales del adolescente, por lo que a través del mismo se reflejó la necesidad que tienen los alumnos al definir su especialidad. Siendo el objeto de sistematización el adolescente, y como eje principal el proceso de la elección vocacional. El tipo de investigación y la metodología empleada fue de corte cualitativa, con un diseño no experimental, permitiendo abordar el fenómeno de manera integral, utilizándose el diseño investigación-acción con el propósito de que los adolescentes se sintieran un ente activo dentro del proceso. A lo largo del desarrollo de la experiencia se utilizaron test psicométricos como el de Mira y López (Inteligencia Abstracta); Cipsa (Cuestionario de Intereses Profesionales) y Otis (Test de Inteligencia General), entrevista estructurada y ficha social tomada por la trabajadora social. Este trabajo dejó como aprendizaje la existencia de errores al momento de elegir una carrera profesional
The experience was expressed in the Educational Unit "Domingo Savio" during the months of June to December 2016 with the support of the Department of Student Counseling, Parents, Teachers, Interns and Students of the Tenth Year of Basic Education with whom it was carried out the Vocational Guidance process, which responds to training and information needs for young people. These practices were intended to cover one of the requirements established in the process of training students prior to obtaining a professional degree. As a result of the experience, it was evident that the process of Vocational Guidance is fulfilled from a legal framework without covering personal aspects of the adolescent, so that through it the need of the students to define their specialty was reflected. Being the object of systematization the adolescent, and as main axis the process of the vocational election. The type of research and methodology used was of a qualitative nature, with a non-experimental design, allowing the phenomenon to be addressed in an integral manner, using the research-action method with the purpose of making adolescents feel an active entity in the process. Throughout the development of the experience, psychometric tests such as Mira and López (Abstract Intelligence) were used; Cipsa (Questionnaire of Professional Interests) and Otis (Test of General Intelligence), structured interview and social form taken by the social worker. This work leaves us as learning the existence of errors when choosing a career
