The present work of research exposes methodological strategies in the academic motivation that allows the approach and the interest of the students in the learning of history. Important information was obtained from 181 respondents to students, the hypothesis indicates that more than 65% of the students mention that they do not know or do not use methodological strategies for a good motivation on the part of the teachers when imparting the classes. The completion of this research has to do with the need to make an educational software applied to the students of the first year of high school in the educational unit "Twenty-eighth of May" in which students feel motivated and thus can have a high performance in learning.
