Resumen
Con el combio de la matriz productiva, el Ecuador ha vivido u proceso de combio focalizado en la mejora de su oferta exportable, el incremento de destino de sus productos y el desarrollo de esctores estratégicos. El sector agrícola del país es uno de los más importante, tanto para el abastecimiento interno como para las exportaciones, sin embargo ha subrido multiples problemas debido a la dificultad del acceso al crédito, por la informalidad de muchos agricultores, la falta de capacitación que no les permiten aprender métodos que eviten daños en la plantaciones o ha su salud, también al ser productores independientes, no poseen un volumen de producción que les permita cubrir una demanda específica o exportar. Gracias a la formación del modelo de economía popular y solidaria.
The present research work analyzes the role of education in the development of nations. In the first place, the problem of underdevelopment, its effects and possible causes are addressed; theories for development are reviewed, with emphasis on those that focus on the human being; it continues with the analysis of the role of education in history, its current state in the world and its evolution as a science; as well as the absolute and relative state of development in Ecuador; education is reviewed as a science, and the economic and non-economic returns of education are studied, finding it as a determining factor of development, because of its profound impact on the economy, society, culture, religion, and politics; The main characteristics of education in developed countries are determined and education is explored in three of these countries, as well as the education system in Ecuador; Finally, a reform of the educational system focused on the development of the individual is proposed as the most appropriate way to achieve the economic and social development of the country.
