Tratamiento de mordida abierta en paciente de 9 a 15 años tratados en la clínica de ortodoncia en el periodo 2010- 2012 de la escuela de posgrado

Resumen
Podemos mencionar que las malocluciones es el resultado de las
interacciones de los factores genéticos y ambientales, sin embargo,
estas pueden originarse por las variaciones de cada sujeto, por
ejemplo; en la dentición temporal, ya que esta influye en gran medida
del desarrollo de una adecuada oclusión en la dentición permanente.
Durante la dentición primaria, la sobremordida disminuye normalmente
y esta reducido a cero. A partir del comienzo de la dentición mixta
hasta que se completa los permanentes, la sobremordida aumenta
ligeramente y luego disminuye, pero hay una gran variabilidad en su
conducta.
La mordida abierta es la ausencia localizada de la oclusión, producto
del desarrollo vertical posterior insuficiente o de un desarrollo vertical
anterior excesivo. Esta a su vez es encontrada en la región anterior de
igual manera es encontrada en la región posterior.
La mordida abierta en cierto paciente es difícil de tratar, ya que existe
diferente factores que puede producir la mordida abierta como: por
problema de la erupción, respiración bucal, posición dental, causa
esquelética, succión digital, a la vez trae consigo diferente
enfermedades: rinitis, sinusitis, otitis, cefaleas, entre otros.
También podemos mencionar que en un paciente con problema de
habito tiene un comportamiento de forma consciente e inconsciente, lo
cual es importante intervenir en esta etapa para tener resultado
favorable en el trayecto tratamiento del paciente.
Cabe mencionar que la mordida abierta no solo se produce por
problema genético o un mal hábito sino también depende por la raza,
color del paciente, zona geográfica y grupo etario.
Para establecer el tratamiento adecuado para cada paciente es
necesario realizar un excelente diagnostico para obtener una claridad

del tratamiento a tratar lo cual definiremos que clase de mordida
abierta presenta ya sea por mordida abierta dental o mordida abierta
esquelética.
Es importante iniciar el tratamiento para corregir la mordida abierta en
la edad de 7 a 10 años, lo cual solucionaremos a corregir el
crecimiento craneofacial en la erupción de los dientes permanentes
cuya forma se reduce a las extracciones y mejorar el perfil del
paciente.
En la técnica del tratamiento de la mordida abierta aplicaremos con
método de aparatología removible y aparatología fija, con la finalidad
de cerrar la mordida abierta, para cual obtendremos resultados
favorables. Uno de los motivo que me motivo a dicha investigación la
cantidad de niños que acuden a las consulta odontológicas por
presentar hábitos orales, los cuales tiene problemas psicológicos
traducidos en ansiedad, timidez, falta de cariño, inseguridad, entre
otros, y si no son atendidos a tiempo pueden traer consecuencia,
patológicas y trastorno de la cavidad bucal como tenemos la ya
mencionada mordida abierta.

We can also mention that in a patient with problem habit has a behavior consciously and unconsciously , what which is important to intervene at this stage to have resulted favorable in the treatment of the patient journey . It is noteworthy that the open bite occurs not only by genetic problem or a bad habit but also depends on race , color of the patient, age group and geographic area . To determine the appropriate treatment for each patient is needed for an excellent diagnostic clarity 2 treatment to try to define which kind of bite open presents either dental open bite or open bite Skeleton . It is important to start treatment to correct the open bite age 7-10 years, which solve to correct the craniofacial growth in the eruption of permanent teeth whose form is reduced to the extraction and raise the profile of patient .
