Resumen
Este tratamiento prostodóntico de dientes tratados en edónticamente encierra
una gran cantidad de problemas restaurativos. La mayoría de los problemas se
dan porque este tipo de dientes presentan destrucción coronal. En estos dientes
es necesario aumentar la retención para las restauraciones más allá de la parte
coronal. Es muy importante seleccionar materiales que eviten la propagación de
micro fracturas u otros defectos similares que se presentan en esta clase de
dientes.
En operatoria dental y en modelo figurados, es el alumno que adquiere las
habilidades básica para tallar en un diente o cavidad, cuyo diseño y terminación
se rigen por principios biomecánicas, así como también aprende a seleccionar y
manipular correctamente los materiales que servirán para proteger la pulpa
dentaria y los que tendrán como finalidad de restaurar el diente.
Al ingresar a la clínica de operatoria, el alumno aplicara esos conocimiento y
habilidades en un pacientes y sabrá que el órgano dentario tiene capacidad de
respuesta, que siempre será favorable en tanto se sigan los lineamiento
técnico–científico que rigen la práctica de la Operatoria Dental.
El alumno siempre deberá tener que la individualidad del ser humano también se
manifiesta en el sillón dental, que sería un error no personalizar su relación con
su paciente, a quien deberá cuidar en todo momento, con absoluto apegado a
las normas éticas.
Encontraremos que la historia de la operatoria dental, cavidades de según Black
