Resumen
La falta de aplicación de nuevos sistemas de obturación al momento del
tratamiento endodóntico, nos llevará a usar solo un método de obturación, el cual
se ha venido enseñando hace ya mucho tiempo. Los nuevos sistemas de
obturación en endodoncia es un trabajo de investigación bibliográfica, que tiene
como objetivo el conocer las nuevas formas y técnicas de obturación, recordando
que este es un conjunto de procedimientos que se realiza con el fin de terminar
la terapia endodóntica en lo que respecta a la manipulación del conducto
radicular. El no conocer del tema tanto en lo teórico como en lo práctico nos
puede llevar a un fracaso en el tratamiento.
Este trabajo se realizó mediante un estudio de revisión bibliográfica de literatura,
información de diferentes bases de datos, sitios web (PUBMED, SCIELO,
DENTISTRY & ORAL, SCIENCE SOURCE, ETC.), que se relacionan con las
técnicas de obturación que se están implementando en la actualidad. Se
determinó que el material que se usará para la obturación seguirá siendo la
gutapercha, a pesar de conocer sus ventajas y desventajas, este material se
seguirá usando ya que no ha podido ser reemplazado, mientras que el modo de
introducirlos al conducto radicular cambia totalmente, los sistemas de
gutapercha termoplastificados es parte de los nuevos métodos de obturación
radicular que pueden dar buenos resultado en conductos laterales, obturando
deltas apicales, ofreciendo así mejor adaptación al tercio apical y mejor tiempo
de trabajo.
The lack of application of new obturation systems at the time of the endodontic treatment will lead us to use a sealing method, which has already been sent for a long time. The new obturation and endodontic systems is a bibliographic research work; this has the objective to know the new forms and techniques of obturation, remembering that it is a set of procedures that are carried out in order to finish the endodontic therapy with regards to the manipulation of the root canal. Not knowing the subject theoretically or practically can lead to a failure in the work. This work was carried out through a literature review study, information from different databases, websites (PUBMED, SCIELO, DENTISTRY AND ORAL, SOURCE OF SCIENCE, ETC.), which are related to the sealing techniques that are being implemented currently. It was determined that the material used for obturation is still gutta-percha, despite the knowledge of its advantages and disadvantages, this material will still be used and cannot be replaced, while the mode of introducing it to the root canal changes completely; Thermoplasticized gutta-percha systems are part of the new methods of root filling that can give good results in lateral canals, filling apical deltas, and offering adaptability for apical and best working time.
