Técnicas quirúrgicas utilizadas en la extracción del tercer molar inferior

Abstract

Los terceros molares o muelas cordales pueden provocar infecciones, sobre todo cuando el molar está comunicado con la boca. Asimismo también esta situación puede dañar los dientes vecinos, causando caries, patología periodontal en la encía adyacente, encías hinchadas, quistes e incluso tumores, aunque estos últimos no son excesivamente frecuentes. Sin duda, la indicación de la extracción del tercer molar o "muela del juicio" es uno de los procedimientos más común indicado por parte del ortodoncista y por el odontólogo general. No obstante es una obligación profesional dar una justificación objetiva y ordenada, donde se establezcan claramente las indicaciones y contraindicaciones, el momento ideal, el profesional idóneo, las citas necesarias y el costo del tratamiento. Por todo lo expuesto, he elegido como tema de investigación “Extracción de Tercer Molar Inferior” con esta indagación procuro dar respuesta a las interrogantes que se dan antes, durante y después de la intervención quirúrgica de los Terceros Molares. Asimismo admitiéndome elaborar la investigación previa a la obtención al titulo de Odontóloga. Este trabajo se encuadra dentro de las líneas prioritarias de investigación para la carrera de odontología en la Facultada de Odontología de la Universidad de Guayaquil presentando toda la información necesaria que brindar ayuda a las personas interesadas en este tema ya que se encuentra debidamente fundamentado con textos e información certificada científicamente. El presente trabajo de graduación, nos involucra en el tipo de investigación descriptiva, analítica y explicativa, misma que mediante la revisión de literatura, nos conlleva a identificar el objeto de estudio, que en el presenta caso: Técnicas quirúrgicas utilizadas en la extracción del tercer molar inferior.

The third molars or wisdom teeth can cause infections , especially when the molar is connected to the mouth. Also this can also damage the surrounding teeth , causing tooth decay , periodontal disease in the adjacent gum , swollen gums , cysts and even tumors , although the latter are not too frequent. Certainly the indication of extraction of the third molar or " wisdom tooth " is one of the most common procedures indicated by the orthodontist and the general dentist. However, it is a professional obligation to give an objective and orderly justification , where the indications and contraindications are clearly established , the right time , the healthcare professional the necessary appointments and the cost of treatment . For these reasons , I have chosen as a research topic " Third Molar Extraction " with this inquiry I try to answer the questions that occur before, during and after surgery of Third Molars . Also admitting me develop prior to obtaining the title of Dentist investigation. This work fits within the priority research areas for the career of dentistry in the appointing of Dentistry at the University of Guayaquil presenting all necessary information to provide assistance to those interested in this topic as it is properly informed with texts and scientifically certified information . This graduation work , we engage in the type of descriptive research , analytical and explanatory , same as by reviewing literature, leads us to identify the object of study, which in the present case : surgical techniques used in the extraction of the third lower molar .
