Estudio preliminar fitoquímico y farmacognostico de la corteza del fruto y del compuesto graso de la semilla amarga de achotillo ( Nephelium lappaceum L.)

Resumen
Se realizó un estudio preliminar fitoquímico y farmacognóstico de la corteza del fruto y de la semilla de la especie vegetal (Nephelium lappaceum l.), El estudio desarrollado, se apoyó en parámetros preliminares como la determinación del contenido de humedad por desecación, cenizas totales, cenizas solubles en agua, cenizas solubles en ácido clorhídrico, sustancias solubles, índice de refacción en la grasa extraída de la semilla. Se desarrolló un estudio cualitativo químico mediante el tamizaje fitoquímico a los extractos con solventes de polaridad creciente tales como el éter di-etílico, etanol y agua. Las reacciones de coloración y precipitación indicaron la presencia de varios metabolitos activos tales como compuestos grasos, azucares reductores, Triterpenos y flavonoides. La cuantificación espectrofotométrica UV de flavonoides y fenoles totales en la corteza amarga fue de 05584 mg/ml y 1.176 mg/ml respectivamente. Los terpenos presentes en la corteza fueron identificados utilizando cromatografía de capa fina.

The study was based on preliminary parameters such as the determination of moisture content by desiccation, total ash, water soluble ashes, ash soluble in hydrochloric acid, soluble substances, spare index in the fat extracted from the seed. A qualitative chemical study was developed by means of the phytochemical screening of the extracts with solvents of increasing polarity such as di ethyl ether, ethanol and water. The coloration and precipitation reactions indicated the presence of several active metabolites such as fatty compounds, reducing sugars, Triterpenes and flavonoids. The UV spectrophotometric quantification of flavonoids and total phenols in the bitter cortex was 0.5584 mg / ml and 1176 mg/ml respectively. The terpenes present in the bark were identified using thin layer chromatography.
