Resumen
La endodoncia abarca muchos aspectos, como la práctica, el desbridamiento total del espacio pulpar, la creación de un selle apical y la obturación completa del sistema de conductos radiculares constituyen los objetivos principales.
Es importante que el operador tenga los conocimientos y la habilidad para lograr a la perfección cada uno de estos objetivos , una vez más cabe mencionar que la inadecuada instrumentación y conformación de los conductos radiculares influirá en la obturación de estos, por tanto en el selle y el éxito del tratamiento.
Una de las principales metas de la terapia en odóntica es la obturación tridimensional del sistema de conductos radiculares esto significa que el diente debe pasar a un estado lo más inerte posible para el organismo impidiendo la reinfección y el crecimiento de los microorganismos que hayan quedado en el conducto, así como la creación de un ambiente biológicamente adecuado y tenga lugar la cicatrización de los tejidos.
Se han desarrollado muchos materiales y técnicas para conformar la obturación de los conductos radiculares, el objetivo es la obliteración total del espacio radicular. Históricamente se habla de la utilización del oro, oxicloruro de zinc y Eugene, pastas yodoformadas, con diversos grados de éxito y satisfacción. Sin embargo el material de elección es la gutapercha ya que ha demostrado propiedades físicas y químicas aceptables así como toxicidad e irritabilidad mínima. Es por ello que en esta revisión se abarcará dicho material.
Endodontics encompasses many aspects , such as practical , total debridement of the pulp space, creating an apical seal and complete sealing of the root canal system are the main goals. It is important that the operator has the knowledge and skill to achieve perfection each of these objectives , it is worth mentioning again that inadequate instrumentation and shaping of the root canal obturation influence of these, both the seal and treatment success . One of the main goals of therapy in odóntica is the three-dimensional obturation of the root canal system this means that the tooth must enter a zombie state as possible to the body preventing reinfection and growth of microorganisms that have been in the duct as well as the creation of a suitable environment and biologically take place tissue healing . Many materials have been developed techniques for forming and sealing of the root canal , the goal is the total obliteration of the root space . Historically speaking the use of gold , zinc oxychloride and Eugene, yodoformadas pastas, with varying degrees of success and satisfaction. However, the material of choice because it is the gutta percha has demonstrated acceptable physical and chemical properties as well as low toxicity and irritability. That is why in this review that material will be covered.
