Percepcion de los padres de familia acerca del cumplimiento del esquema de vacunacion en lactantes menores en el centro de salud N° 13 distrito 09d04 periodo 2017-2018

Resumen
Las vacunas tienen el fin de evitar enfermedades infecciosas en la población infantil, por ello se
planteó el objetivo de determinar la percepción de los padres de familia acerca del cumplimiento del
esquema de vacunación en lactantes menores del Centro de Salud 13 del Distrito 09D04 en el periodo
2017-2018. Se aplicó la metodología descriptiva, transversal y cuantitativa, con uso de la encuesta a
las madres, cuyos resultados evidenciaron que los representantes de niños lactantes menores,
indicaron que 74% tienen nivel de instrucción secundaria, perteneciendo al grupo etáreo comprendido
entre 19 a 35 años de edad, 58% de estado civil casado, la mayoría mujeres dedicadas a los
quehaceres domésticos y al cuidado de sus hijos en el hogar; se identificó alto nivel de cumplimiento
del esquema de vacunación en BCG (99%) y varicela (94%), un nivel de cumplimiento aceptable en
OPV, neumococo, fiPV-bOPV, rotavirus y otras, mientras que las de mayor incumplimiento fueron la
SRP (68%) y la pentavalente (64%); las principales razones por las cuales el padre de familia incumplió
fue por la falta de la vacuna en el Centro de Salud, que obligó a la madre a regresar una o dos veces
al establecimiento. En conclusión, la percepción de satisfacción de los padres de familia cuando
asistieron al centro de salud a vacunar a sus hijos lactantes menores, fueron algo insatisfactorios,
especialmente porque consideraron lento del servicio y la poca empatía del personal que le atendió en
el Centro de Salud.
The vaccines are intended to prevent infectious diseases in children, so the objective was to determine the perception of parents about compliance with the vaccination scheme in infants under the Health Center 13 of District 09D04 in the period 2017-2018.
