The man is under constant dental procedures , there are currently a lot of teeth that man has affected , because the man has modified its power consuming more soft and refined foods , which did not happen in stages prehuman where diet of man needed a more powerful masticatory apparatus requiring a greater number of teeth. As this study seeks to identify how variability affects the third molar in the surgical techniques used in patients presenting to maxillofacial University of Guayaquil in 2011 . Where as we aim to identify the variability of the third molar has a decisive influence on the surgical procedure to be employed , and the recovery time , we must also remember that surgical third molar removal is recommended to avoid crowding the other parts that found in the arcade, and is one of the most common procedures in oral surgery . At present, the aesthetic appearance is one of the most influential factors for extraction , as 90% of these typically result in the crowding thereof, and therefore affects the physical and aesthetic oral thereof in the last decade has taken great importance for the population. Within the method we applied the scientific method, through the establishment of hypotheses to be tested variables analyzed in statistical charts and graphs , allowing us to draw conclusions and recommendations for the implementation of surgical procedures for third molar extraction.
