Conocimientos del familiar cuidador sobre la atencion y fisioterapia del paciente con Parkinson

Resumen
La investigación trata de los conocimientos de los familiares cuidadores con adultos mayores sobre los cuidados y fisioterapia indicada para el mal de Párkinson en el centro de salud El Fortín – Fundación ´´APINNAFC´´ de la parroquia Pascuales. El objetivo de este proyecto es analizar el conocimiento que tienen los familiares cuidadores de adultos mayores con Parkinson, para dar atención y fisioterapia en el hogar. La metodología es de tipo cuantitativa con enfoque positivista, la muestra seleccionada fue de 20 familiares cuidadores, se utilizó como instrumento la encuesta, con 10 preguntas que corresponden a la variable de la investigación, posteriormente se procedió a la tabulación de los datos en el programa Microsoft Excel. Los resultados reflejan El nivel de conocimiento del familiar cuidador fue de 55% los cuales conocen muy poco del tema, mientras tanto un 45% tiene un leve conocimiento de cuidados y terapias a realizar en el hogar. Cabe recalcar el mayor porcentaje 75% expresó que habían recibido información del parte del médico, y solo un 25% restante manifestó que las licenciadas de enfermería les explicaron ciertos procedimientos para el hogar con el enfermo. Se concluye que existen desconocimientos del familiar cuidador sobre la atención que deben brindar en el hogar al enfermo con el mal de Párkinson. Recomiendo a la institución en especial a los profesionales de enfermería, elaborar programas educativos acerca de la temática de los cuidados y fisioterapia en la enfermedad de Párkinson para fortalecer los conocimientos de los familiares cuidadores.
The research deals with the knowledge of family caregivers with older adults about the care and physiotherapy indicated for Parkinson's disease at the El Fortin health center - "APINNAFC" Foundation of Pascuales parish. The objective of this project is to analyze the knowledge that family caregivers of elderly people with Parkinson's have, to give attention and physiotherapy in the home. The methodology is of a quantitative type with a positivist approach, the sample selected was 20 family caregivers, the survey was used as an instrument, with 10 questions corresponding to the research variable, then the data was tabulated in the program Microsoft Excel. The results reflect the level of knowledge of the family caregiver was 55% who know very little about the subject, meanwhile 45% have a slight knowledge of care and therapies to be performed at home. It should be noted that the highest percentage 75% expressed that they had received information from the doctor, and only a remaining 25% said that the nursing graduates explained certain procedures for the home with the patient. It is concluded that there are ignorances of the family caregiver about the care they must provide at home to the patient with Parkinson's disease. I recommend the institution, especially nursing professionals, to develop educational programs on the subject of care and physiotherapy in Parkinson's disease to strengthen the knowledge of family caregivers.
