The third molars are four twos in the upper jaw and two in the jaw, a right and a left , respectively , belong to the second dentition of adults, absent in the primary dentition , and are the teeth that are most often retained , impacted or included within the bone. The mere presence of this dental organ in the mouth does not mean you have to have pathology may be asymptomatic and participate , like other teeth, in normal system functions. Another possibility is that by third molar genetic reasons not formed , and therefore never erupt , and it can happen in any of the four seeds . the third and final possibility is that they are trapped in the jawbone or jaw partially or completely causing a series of problems which must be addressed professionally. Since the actual incidence of disease associated with third molars is not so high , it is advisable to adopt a watchful waiting with regular checks of the molars asymptomatically , proceeding to pre- extraction only some circumstances. Any tooth may suffer disruption of their eruptive process causing partial or complete retention within the maxillary processes.
