Resumen
El software libre hace referencia a la libertad de aprendizaje sobre el
uso adquirido ya que una vez obtenido puede ser estudiado copiado,
utilizado, modificado y redistribuido libremente sin costo alguno. La
mayor parte de las instituciones educativas que trabajan con
software requieren el pago de una licencia para poder emplearlo,
caso contrario se está infringiendo un delito.El ex presidente Rafael
correa de la República del Ecuador con fecha de abril de 2008 emite
un decreto 1014, en el cual obliga a las instituciones públicas a
utilizar software libre con la finalidad de garantizar soberanía y
autonomía tecnológica, así como un significativo ahorro de los
recursos. El colegio Fiscal mixto Francisco de Orellana consciente
de la importancia de cumplir las disposiciones emitidas desde el
gobierno y garantizar su estabilidad en cuanto a la tecnológico se
refiere, presta las facilidades necesarias para la utilización de
software libre con el paquete LibreofficeWriter asumiendo un nuevo
reto. Además el colegio cuenta con los recursos tecnológicos y
humanos para poder instalar el software en sus laboratorios y demás
dependencia, para lo cual la presente investigación se centró en
desarrollar una propuesta sobre la ejecución de un software
educativo sobre libre Office Writer como guía en el aprendizaje
colaborativo de los estudiantes del tercer año de bachillerato,
especialización informática del colegio fiscal mixto francisco de
Orellana periodo lectivo 2016 – 2017. Para la elaboración del
software interactivo multimedia se utilizaron principalmente los
siguientes métodos Inductivo, deductivo, analítico, como también se
aplicaron diversas técnicas como observación, entrevista, encuesta
lo cual permitió recolectar información para generar resultados
favorables.

Former President Rafael Correa of the Republic of Ecuador, in April 2008, issued a decree 1014, which obliges public institutions to use free software to guarantee sovereignty and technological autonomy, as well as significant savings of means. The mixed tax school Francisco de Orellana, aware of the importance of complying with the regulations issued by the government and guaranteeing its stability in terms of technology, provides the necessary facilities for the use of free software with the Free Office Writer package, assuming a new challenge. In addition, the school has the technological and human resources to install the software in its laboratories and other dependencies, for which the present research focused on developing a proposal on the implementation of educational software in free Office Writer as a guide in collaborative learning of the students of the third year of high school, specialization in computer science of the mixed fiscal school francisco of Orellana academic period 2016 - 2017. For the elaboration of interactive multimedia software the following methods were mainly used inductive, deductive, analytical, as well as several techniques applied as observation, interview, a survey that allowed the collection of information to generate favorable results.
