Evaluación del sistema de pasantías pre profesionales de los estudiantes de Cuarto Año de Economía para optimizar sus Competencias laborales y Propuesta de Reingeniería

Resumen
Las falta de un sistema integral de pasantías pre profesionales incide
en la adecuada formación de los nuevos profesionales economistas
que demanda el mercado laboral ecuatoriano. La vinculación teórico
practica constituye un elemento fundamental del proceso educativo
en la educación superior, genera las primeras experiencias reales,
para la toma adecuada de decisiones. El estudio busca evaluar cómo
se vienen desarrollando las pasantías pre profesionales en la
Facultad de Economía de la Universidad de Guayaquil, realizar un
estudio comparativo de las experiencias de unidades académicas
similares y proponer alternativas al actual sistema. La investigación
hace uso de instrumentos investigativos como encuestas y
entrevistas a estudiantes, autoridades y empresarios, asumiendo el
análisis deductivo e inductivo. El estudio permitirá encontrar las
principales limitaciones que impiden un adecuado desarrollo de las
pasantías pre profesionales de los estudiantes de cuarto año en el
periodo lectivo 2010-2011; más aun cuando este es un requisito
previo para poder egresar. Otro objetivo es realizar una propuesta
innovadora que permita integrar las pasantías pre profesionales al
currículo con un determinado número de créditos, por lo cual esta
actividad académica, como todas las otras, será evaluada. Los
beneficiarios directos serán los estudiantes que podrán enriquecer
sus conocimientos con las pasantías en las diferentes empresas
públicas o privadas, la institución que lograra un mayor
reconocimiento de la sociedad por la calidad de los nuevos
economistas, con competencias adecuadas a las nuevas exigencias
del mercado laboral y los empresarios que podrán contar con una
base de datos de personal humano calificado.
The lack of comprehensive pre-professional internships affects the proper formation of the new professional economists Ecuadorian labor market demand. The theoretical relationship is a fundamental practice of the educational process in higher education, creates the first real experiences, for the appropriate decision making. The study seeks to evaluate how pre professionals internships are developing in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Guayaquil, perform a comparative study of the experiences of similar academic units and propose alternatives to the current system. The research makes use of research tools such as surveys and interviews with students, officials and businessmen, deductive and inductive analysis. The study will find the main limitations that prevent adequate pre professional internships development of fourth-year students in the academic year 2010-2011, even more when it is a prerequisite for graduation. Another objective is to create an innovative proposal that allows pre-professional internships to integrate into the curriculum with a certain number of credits, so this academic activity, like all the others will be evaluated. The direct beneficiaries will be the students who will enrich their knowledge with the internships in different public and private companies, the institution that achieved greater recognition of the company by the quality of new economists, with appropriate skills to the new demands of the labor market and entrepreneurs who may have a database of the qualified personnel.
