Palabras Claves: complicaciones, tercer trimestre, embarazo, morbilidad, mortalidad xv In Ecuador, the campaign to reduce the maternal mortality rate focuses on the increase of prenatal controls by all expectant mothers, with the postpartum complication rate being one of the causes of female mortality worldwide. Therefore, the programs focused on its reduction are aimed at comprehensive controls during the I, II, and III quarter, so our titration work through indirect observational retrospective analysis, focused on analyzing which are the main maternal complications during the III quarter of gestation of mothers between 15 to 30 years of age, being notorious as out of a total of 132 cases, the main complication was premature rupture of membranes and threatened preterm labor in 27% and 22% of cases, whose The most common risk were incomplete prenatal controls in 45% of the population and in more than 5% sui association with bacterial vaginosis and 23% with unplanned juvenile pregnancies. Our objective and general recommendation with this project is that at a higher hierarchical level we take protocol measures focused on reducing this type of complications based on our risk profile of pregnant nulliparous mothers during the third trimester of pregnancy.
