Resumen
La finalidad de esta investigación es la de analizar la metodología
utilizada por los docentes de la modalidad a distancia de la Universidad
Indoamérica y llegar a determinar si se alcanzan los resultados de
aprendizaje propuestos por los mismos en los respectivos sílabos.
El sistema de estudio a distancia demanda mucha investigación por parte
de los estudiantes; desde el punto de vista de créditos, una materia puede
alcanzar entre 3 y 6 créditos por semestre, cada crédito comprende 32
horas de trabajo distribuidas entre el tiempo que el docente brinda como
tutoría y el tiempo como trabajo autónomo que cumple el estudiante.
Un estudiante de distancia recibe muy poco tiempo por parte del profesor,
esto hace que el esfuerzo sea mayor por ambas partes, sin embargo es la
única alternativa para una población que por horarios de trabajo, distancia
a los centros de estudio u otras razones, deba recurrir a esta modalidad.
Queda en el docente entonces buscar estrategias metodológicas que
permitan llegar con los contenidos y garantizar que el estudiante aprenda
y logre alcanzar las metas establecidas.
La Universidad Indoamérica tiene estudiantes en todo el país y brinda la
posibilidad de conseguir un título universitario a una población que no es
atendida por otras modalidades.
Cada docente pone a disposición de los estudiantes el sílabo de la
materia en el cual se indica la metodología a seguir, su contenido y los
resultados de aprendizaje que se espera. Además publica una guía de
aprendizaje con las actividades a desarrollar en el transcurso del
semestre.
Se pretende como resultado de la investigación diseñar una guía
interactiva para los docentes que permita mejorar el aprendizaje de los
estudiantes y alcanzar los resultados de aprendizaje propuestos.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the methodology used by teachers in the distance mode of the Indoamerica University and get to determine whether they achieve learning outcomes proposed by them in their respective syllabus. A student in the distance learning mode receives very little time by the teacher, this makes the effort is greater for both parties, but it is the only alternative to a population that work schedules, distant from the study centers or other reasons, the student must resort to this method. It is on the teacher then search methodological strategies that reach out to the content and ensure that students learn and reach your goals. Indoamerica University has students across the country and offers the possibility of getting a college degree to a population that is not served by other modes. Each teacher makes available to students the syllabus of the subject which shows the methodology followed, content and learning outcomes expected. It also publishes a guide to learning with activities developed in the course of the semester. It is intended as a result of the research design an interactive guide for teachers to improve student learning and achieve the proposed learning outcomes.
