Factores relacionados con amputaciones mayores y menores en el Servicio de Cirugía Vascular del Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo período 2015

Resumen
La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar los factores relacionados con
las amputaciones mayores y menores. La metodología fue de enfoque
cuantitativo y se utilizó para ello el método estadístico, la información se la
obtuvo de las historias clínicas que constan en los archivos del sistema AS400
de los pacientes de Cirugía Vascular del Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo,
periodo 2015. Los resultados más relevantes fueron: continúa la prevalencia
de las amputaciones mayores en el sexo masculino, y en edades comprendidas
entre los 50 - 69 años, lo que evidencia una ligera disminución en las edades
de amputación, el miembro izquierdo resultó ser el más afectado. En las
conclusiones se establece que la diabetes sigue liderando como factor
predominante para las amputaciones, seguido de la hipertensión; a pesar de
que un gran número de pacientes presentaba como factor asociado a la
Diabetes Mellitus: hipertensión, dislipedemia.
The research aims to determine the factors related to major and minor amputations. The methodology was a quantitative approach and the statistical method was used for this, the information was obtained from the medical records that are recorded in the files of the AS400 system of Vascular Surgery patients of the Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo period 2015. The most relevant results Were: the prevalence of major amputations continues in males, and in ages between 50 - 69 years, which shows a slight decrease in the ages of amputation, the left limb was the most affected. Among the findings is that diabetes continues to lead as a predominant factor for amputations, followed by hypertension; Although a large number of patients had as predominant associated to Diabetes Mellitus factor: hypertension, dyslipedemia.
