Estudio y diseño de sistema de transporte público fluvial entre los cantones Durán y Guayaquil en el año 2018

Resumen
El problema de movilidad urbana y transporte público perdura en la ciudad de Guayaquil, este trabajo representa el estudio y diseño del sistema de transporte fluvial en el cantón Guayaquil frente a la problemática existente del aumento poblacional en los últimos años, razón por la que es considerada por el INEC como la ciudad más poblada de Ecuador, provocando su expansión y desarrollo urbano que traspaso sus límites, incrementando la demanda de transporte público entre Guayaquil y los cantones de Samborondón y Durán, generando la necesidad de implementar un sistema de transporte alternativo eficaz; ya que, en la actualidad el sistema vial presenta obsolescencias en su sistema urbano por el uso excesivo de transporte privado. Como una solución a la problemática de tránsito se propuso crear el diseño del Sistema multi- modal de Transporte Fluvial que funcione con una red de movilidad para la conurbación urbano- rural de la ciudad, en el río Guayas aprovechando los recursos naturales de la ciudad.
The problem of urban mobility and public transport persists in the city of Guayaquil, this work represents the study and design of the fluvial transport system in the Guayaquil canton facing the existing problem of population increase in recent years, which is why it is considered by the INEC as the most populated city in Ecuador, causing its expansion and urban development that transgresses its limits, increasing the demand for public transport between Guayaquil and the cantons of Samborondón and Durán, generating the need to implement an efficient alternative transportation system; since, at present, the road system presents obsolescence in its urban system due to the excessive use of private transportation. As a solution to the problem of transit, it was proposed to create the design of the Multimodal System of Fluvial Transport that works with a mobility network for the urban-rural conurbation of the city, on the Guayas River, taking advantage of the natural resources of the city.
