Resumen
La comunicación bucosinusal es una condición patológica que se da al haber una continuidad entre la boca y el seno maxilar debido a la pérdida de los tejidos blandos y duros que los separan. Su etiología puede variar dependiendo de las causas, que pueden ser: iatrogénicas, traumáticas o que se asocien a otras patologías. Objetivo: Establecer el tratamiento de la comunicación bucosinusal mediante la técnica quirúrgica colgajo vestibular. Metodología: Enfoque cualitativo, tipo de investigación documental, descriptivo exploratorio. Resultados: Cuando se ha comprobado que existe una comunicación bucosinusal ya sea mediante el método de Valsalva, radiográfico o tomografía computarizada, se procede a efectuar el tratamiento más adecuado para el Odontólogo General, que según la investigación de este trabajo seria colgajo vestibular. Conclusiones: La presente investigación identificamos los tipos de tratamientos que conllevan a la comunicación bucosinusal lo que permitió ampliar el conocimiento y diferenciar diagnósticos de técnicas quirúrgicas
Bucosinusal communication is a pathological condition that occurs when there is a continuity between the mouth and the maxillary sinus due to the loss of the soft and hard tissues that separate them. Its etiology may vary depending on the causes, which may be iatrogenic, traumatic or associated with other pathologies. Objective: To establish the treatment of bucosinusal communication using the vestibular flap surgical technique. Methodology: qualitative approach, type of documentary research, descriptive exploratory. Results: when it has been verified that there is a bucosinusal communication either through the Valsalva method, radiographic or computed tomography, the most appropriate treatment is carried out for the General Dentist and, according to the investigation of this work, would be a vestibular flap. Conclusions: The present investigation identifies the types of treatments that lead to bucosinusal communication, which allowed to expand the knowledge and differentiate diagnostic of surgical techniques.
