Diabetes en el embarazo : complicaciones y relación con el peso fetal Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo, septiembre 2015 - febrero 2016

Resumen
El presente trabajo es una investigación para determinar las complicaciones maternas como fetales que se presentan en pacientes con diabetes en el embarazo y la relación del peso fetal en usuarias del Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo durante el período comprendido entre septiembre del 2015 y febrero del 2016. Se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal en el cual el universo estuvo establecido por todas las usuarias embarazadas atendidas en el Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo durante el período comprendido entre septiembre del 2015 y febrero del 2016, en la cual se estableció una muestra de 71 pacientes, de los cuales se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: La diabetes en el embarazo se presenta con más frecuencia entre los 31 a 40 años (72%). Con un alto porcentaje sin complicaciones maternas (55%), seguida de la IVU (14%) y desgarre perineal (13%). En cuanto a las complicaciones fetales la de mayor porcentaje fue la macrosomía (21%). Las pacientes con diabetes en el embarazo son fundamentalmente multigestas (75%) y la vía de finalización del embarazo fue la cesárea (73%) y se presentó mayormente el parto pretermino (54%). Los niveles de glucosa que se presentaron con mayor porcentaje están entre 100 y 140 mg/dl (62%). En cuanto a diabetes gestacional o pre gestacional el diagnóstico definitivo de las pacientes fue diabetes gestacional (87%). Estos hallazgos muestran las principales complicaciones asociadas a diabetes en el embarazo y la relación del peso fetal dentro de la población estudiada, los cuales pueden servir como guías que permitan detectar estas complicaciones para poder evitarlas en un futuro.
The present work is an investigation to determine the mother as foetal complications that they present in patients with diabetes in the pregnancy and the relation of the foetal weight in usuarias of the Hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo during the period understood between September, 2015 and February, 2016. There was realized a study of descriptive type, of transverse cut in which the universe Teodoro Maldonado Carbo was established by all the pregnant usuarias attended in the Hospital during the period understood between September, 2015 and February, 2016, in which there was established a sample of 71 patients, of which the following results were obtained: The diabetes in the pregnancy appears with more frequency between the 31 to 40 years (72 %). With a high percentage without mother complications (55 %), followed by the IVU (14 %) and crush perineal (13 %). As for the foetal complications that of major percentage was the macrosomía (21 %). The patients with diabetes in the pregnancy are fundamentally multiexploits (75 %) and the route of ending of the pregnancy was the Caesarean (73 %) and one presented mainly the childbirth pretermino (54 %). The levels of glucose that they presented with major percentage are between 100 and 140 mg/dl (62 %). As for diabetes gestacional or pre gestacional the definitive diagnosis of the patients was diabetes gestacional (87 %). These findings show the principal complications associated with diabetes in the pregnancy and the relation of the foetal weight inside the studied population, which can serve as guides who allow to detect these complications to be able to avoid them in a future.
