Resumen
El presente trabajo analiza económicamente la industria cacaotera del Ecuador, donde se detalla desde la plantación del cacao, enfermedades, lugares de producción nacional y sus ingresos por exportaciones de este producto dentro del periodo 2012-2017. En el capítulo I del presente trabajo se establece el planteamiento y formulación del problema, las preguntas de investigación, objetivos generales y específicos, justificación, delimitación del problema y la premisa de la investigación desarrollada. Dentro del capítulo II se establece los antecedentes y el marco conceptual, marco legal de instituciones que regulan al sector cacaotero. En el capítulo III se realiza el análisis al sector cacaotero, sus productores mundiales, la evolución del precio internacional, el posicionamiento a nivel mundial y principales consumidores del cacao ecuatoriano. Finalmente en el capítulo IV se realiza el análisis económico de las exportaciones de este sector, se desarrollara el análisis con estadísticos descriptivos con sus respectivas pruebas de hipótesis.
This work analyzes, economically, the cocoa industry of Ecuador, where it is detailed from the plantation of cocoa, diseases, places of national production and income from exports of this product within the period 2012-2017. In the chapter, it is explained the approach and the formulation of the problem, the research questions, the general and specific objectives, and the justification, the delimitation of the problem and the premise of the developed research are established. The Chapter II establishes the background and the conceptual framework, legal framework of the institutions that regulate the cocoa sector. In the chapter III, the analysis of the cocoa sector is carried out, it is about the world producers, the evolution of the international price, the positioning worldwide and the main consumers of organic cocoa. Finally, in the chapter IV the economic analysis of exports from this sector will be carried out, the analysis will be carried out with descriptive statistics with their respective hypothesis tests.
