There are many reasons why the pregnant adolescents can not lead a proper practice of breastfeeding. Figures from the abandonment of breastfeeding are also high in Latin America where the who studies identified during the first and second month of lactation, mothers breast feed their children at rates above 90% but this figure decreases to 49% in the fourth and fifth month of child' sage, that 51 of every 100 children / as aged between 4 to 6 months, are fed exclusive lyon breast milk, either because the complement sorre placesit with artificial milk. As this work is to identify key psychosocial factors that influence the abandonment of breast feeding by thein corporation of artificial feeding in pregnant adolescents attending the Health Sub-Center No. 2, for this research was used qualitative approach as analyzed psychosocial factors as socioeconomic class, educational level, occupation and cause of the abandonment of breastfeeding. Weal soused a quantitative approach for the analyzed aspects such as age and percentage of mothers who entered the feeding. It is descriptive because the problem was observed with the dependent and independent variables. To carry out this research, a sample of 50 pregnant adolescents which resulted in that 30% of them abandoned breast feeding for work. Concluding that there is great ignorance about the advantages and extraction and storage of breast milk. We propose an educational program on extraction techniques and benefits of breast milk to streng then the knowledge of pregnant adolescents attending the health sub-center No. 2 Bastion Popular.
