Resumen
El tema de estudio de la tecnología de información y comunicación en la calidad de desempeño escolar en la área de matemáticas de los estudiantes del Décimo año de Educación General Básica del Colegio “Juan bautista Stiehle”, Existe escaso interés por esta disciplina, la actitud que muestra el estudiante es de bajo nivel, de desempeño escolar. El objetivo general fue: analizar la influencia de la TIC de software libre en la calidad del desempeño escolar, mediante un estudio bibliográfico, análisis estadístico y de campo, para el diseño de una guía didáctica Multimedia Se analizó la situación, a tal punto que hay mucho por hacer para mejora.
La metodología que se utilizó en este caso investigativo es que se hizo un diagnóstico para ver cómo está la situación, para luego recabar información bibliográfica, luego ir a la investigación de campo, mediante la aplicación de la técnica de la encuestan a los alumnos se recopiló los datos, mismos que fueron tabulados y representanticos gráficamente, terminando con su análisis respectivo, y a la vez puntualizando las recomendaciones, para finalmente elaborar una propuesta con la característica de software libre.
